Windows options MenuWindows options have a major influence on the way you work. They concern the organization of your workspace and thus the number and viewing conditions of the currently open projects. These are the different options at your disposal in order of appearence :
This Window command displays windows stacked and cascading from the top left to the bottom right of the screen. Very practical to navigate through the multiple open projects because the definition bar (the one giving you information about the name the size and the color mode) of all of them is visible. This command could became useless if the number of opened projects is too high. In facts, when you work on more than 12 images the cascading view hides the others behind. This way you must go to the project window to have a complete list of your open projects.
Using this command you can have a complete view of all the openend projects. All windows are displayed edge to edge. You also have the option to tile the images horizontally or vertically. This option having an influence only on the way you preview all the images. The advantage is that you easily recongnize the images and thus you can easily go to the one you want (for example if you didn't remember is name). On the other hand when to many images are tiled on the screen they appear very small. Then you neither can see the full definition of the image in the status bar nor work on them without openning them to full screen (Double-click on the caption bar to see the current project in full screen).
Use this command to arrange minimized image windows within the program window and store them at the bottom of your workspace.
Allows you to reduce all open images and store them cleanly on the bottom of your workspace. The name and extension of the projects (even partially) are displayed. The status bar offers you all the standard Windows options by clicking on the minimize, restore and close icons. You can store a really great number of projects on the whole workspace !
This is the opposite command of minimize all and allows to open all images as they were before minimizing them.
This gives you a shortcut to close all open projects in one single action. Doing that Photonyx asks you to save modified projects before closing them. Thus allowing you to save your precious work before having your time been wasted.
